The 2023 edition of the IPL will be the 16th edition of the tournament. The tournament is expected to take place in April and May of 2023 and will feature eight teams competing for the championship. The teams are divided into two groups of four and will play a round-robin format with the top two teams from each group advancing to the playoffs.
